Radiofarmacia de Centroamérica signs new international agreements

Radiofarmacia de Centroamérica, S.A., an affiliate of the City of Knowledge International Technopark, signed collaboration agreements with The Cyclotron and Radioisotope Center, Tohoku University Hospital, belonging to Tohoku University, the third oldest Imperial University in Japan and one of the most prestigious universities in this country; and The Department of Medical Physics and Bioengineering, University College London, one of the UK’s largest departments of medical physics and bioengineering, with a world renowned reputation in the development of new technologies and methods for the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and medical research.

These scientific collaborations will strengthen the development and sharing of new technologies, information and personnel training of Radiofarmacia, in order to position our country as a future leader of the region in research and methods for cancer diagnosis with positron emission tomography, and applications of medical physics and nuclear physics to medicine.
