Inauguration of the City of Knowledge Exhibition Room with GLOBALLMIX
The City of Knowledge Foundation, the Panama Canal Authority, the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and the United Nations, through its Information Center in Panama (CINUP), inaugurated the new City of Knowledge Exhibition Room with the GLOBALLMIX exhibition.
The event, which features 30 posters created especially by the same number of graphic designers on the topic of sustainability, parallel to the start of the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development "Rio +20”, featured welcoming remarks by Jorge Arosemena, Executive Director of the City of Knowledge Foundation and Mara Murillo, Deputy Director, UNEP Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean.
The City of Knowledge Exhibition Room, former Ecumenical Temple, presented a "visual feast on sustainability," featuring the artwork of some of the best graphic designers in the world on the main concerns to be addressed at "Rio +20". The sample was designed by renowned Brazilian graphic designer Felipe Taborda and has been presented in 48 countries.
The GLOBALLMIX exhibition will run Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. until July 5th.
