FICMA: The International Environmental Film Festival

The International Environmental Film Festival (FICMA) and the Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), based at the City of Knowledge, organized the traveling exhibition "FICMA: Film and Environment", which will take place in Panama from January 31 to February 6, 2013.

This tour, which will visit 12 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean in 2013, consists of a selection of award-winning films and documentaries from The International Environmental Film Festival of Barcelona. The films will be screened in order to raise awareness, educate and disseminate the values ​​of protection and care of our environment and planet, as well as promote the cinemas.

The 2nd Traveling Exhibition in Panama will take place at Cinemark in Multicentro between January 31 and February 6, 2013. During that week a documentary about environmental issues will be shown each day at 7:30 p.m., completely free of charge. Besides, on Monday, February 4, there will be a double session: a special short film session starting at 5:30 p.m. and a documentary at 7:30 p.m.
