CIDES and CATHALAC sign Memorandum of Understanding
On Tuesday, April 28, the City of Knowledge International Center for Sustainable Development (CIDES) and the Water Center for the Humid Tropics of Latin America and the Caribbean (CATHALAC), signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
Professor Jorge Arosemena, Executive President of the City of Knowledge Foundation and President of the Board of Directors of CIDES, and Freddy Picado Traña, General Director of CATHALAC, signed the Memorandum of Understanding.
By signing this agreement, CIDES and CATHALAC create the foundation for collaboration, cooperation and understanding to promote sustainable development by achieving common objectives on climate change, food security, integrated water resources management, energy, water and sanitation. For this they will develop cooperation actions to boost training, specialization courses, internships, research projects, and participation in forums, workshops and seminars.
