The City of Knowledge Foundation and Soluciones Seguras invite you to the Third Conference of the Information and Communications Technology Cycle The Must-Have in Internet Security, which will be held on Wednesday, April 29, at the City of Knowledge Training and Business Center, bldg. 105.

The world of computer security is complex, and it changes and grows every day. Many companies and experts have to be constantly evaluating new technologies, architecture and protective measures for their systems, networks and homes. Likewise, information security budgets have been climbing exponentially to constantly confront the world under attack. But what can a person, a parent, or a small business do?

In this lecture basic, and mostly free, solutions will be presented for the most important elements to be protected. It will also provide a list of tasks for this preparation, and although nothing is 100% infallible, we will be more relaxed and confident that our IT assets are protected.

About the speaker: Engineer Eli Faskha is the General Manager of Soluciones Seguras, one of the first companies dedicated to computer security in Panama, since 2001. He has multiple information security certifications including CISSP, CEH, Security+, Check Point CCSM, and many more. He has participated as author in half a dozen books published by Syngress Publishing. He has taught courses in more than a dozen countries, from Canada to Chile and Argentina. He was a member of the Board of Directors of CAPATEC for 4 years and participates in other boards such as Venture Club.
