To celebrate World Humanitarian Day (August 19), we invite you to participate in the Second Race/Walk to be held on Sunday, August 11, at the City of Knowledge, where the 2013 campaign will be officially launched.
The 2013 campaign originates from the momentum gained last year and the tremendous support that was obtained from people, celebrities, brands and organizations, who said "I was here". This year's goal is simple: Turn words into action...
World Humanitarian Day originates due to the bombing of the UN headquarters in Baghdad, ten years ago, were 22 humanitarian workers died. The date recalls the memory of those who died helping others and celebrates humanitarian workers who have the opportunity to help people in need.
