The City of Knowledge Foundation, the National Metrology Center of Panama (CENAMEP) and the National Institute of Agriculture (INA) invite you to the conference "Metrology as a factor for agricultural competitiveness," which will be held on Thursday, March 17 at the INA.

Metrology is the science that studies measurable properties, measurement scales, units systems, methods and measurement techniques, as well as the evolution of the above, the assessment of the quality of measurements and its constant improvement; facilitating scientific progress, technological development, social welfare and quality of life.

This conference will address the needs and issues that our producer must know in order to meet international technical requirements for agricultural production based on metrological traceability, linking those involved in the production process, the conformity assessment and metrological assurance, and dissemination of this knowledge to the relevant actors in production chains.
