Earth Hour is a global event organized by WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature), one of the biggest global conservation organizations. This initiative began in Sydney in 2006 but due to its success it spread worldwide in 2007.
This campaign is an invitation to individuals, businesses, communities and governments, to join forces in order to reflect on the health of our planet and take action to help reduce the negative impacts on nature. Each year, turning off lights for 60 minutes - Earth Hour - has grown into a global symbol of hope and movement for change.
This great event will be held on Saturday, March 31, on the steps of the Panama Canal Administration Building at 7:00 p.m.
