The environment and climate change are two topics of growing importance in the global crisis of our time. To get clear visions, we must discuss the elements that influence the use -and abuse- of natural resources by contemporary societies. This requires both an examination of the historical background of the environmental crisis, as the analysis of our local and regional perspectives, to identify the best options to respond to situations that go beyond the local framework, and acquire instead a real glocal character.

This event is aimed at governmental and non-governmental organizations, students and academics, and society in general.
