UNODC seeks to achieve security and justice for all by helping States and their peoples to protect them against the threats posed by drugs, crime and terrorism. The work of UNDOC is guided by mandates and driven by the needs of UN Member States as defined in the UNODC. UNDOC’s areas of work and goals have been defined in its Strategy for the period 2008-2011, which provides a framework for the operational activities of the Office.
