Ryan Benton was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) at the age of three and given a life expectancy in the late teens to early twenties. DMD is a relatively common progressive genetic disorder, which causes aggressive deterioration of the muscles.
Approximately twenty scholars and businessmen from the state of Louisiana visited the City of Knowledge (CDS) campus in recent days. The reason for this visit was to meet with several affiliates and attend a presentation by the Executive President of the City of Knowledge Foundation (FCDS), Jorge Arosemena.
On Thursday, October 9th, the Technological University Panama (UTP) met at the Training and Business Center with several companies affiliated to the City of Knowledge (CDS), in order to establish working relationships.
International scientific personalities from various disciplines visited Medistem Panama, an affiliate of the City of Knowledge International Technopark, which is dedicated to research and alternative treatments for diseases in humans in order to offer products that help improve the quality of life.
