The Latin American Volunteer Center, located at the City of Knowledge and member of the International Association for Volunteer Effort (IAVE), begins operations in 2014.

In order to make a first regional contribution, the Latin American Volunteer Center, with support from the University for International Cooperation (UCI), IAVE and the City of Knowledge Foundation, is conducting the first Latin American Volunteer Survey.

This survey is aimed at volunteer leaders in Latin America, in all sectors and in all its forms, in order to reveal the needs, demands, expectations and opportunities offered by the voluntary sector in the region.

The results of the survey will help the Latin American Volunteer Center guide and prioritize their support efforts to the voluntary sector in the region. The results will be made public and widely reported, in order for them to become a tool for volunteer leaders and serve their initiatives.

The survey will be open until Saturday, May 31, 2014 and it only takes 15 to 20 minutes to answer. To participate please access the following link: http://tinyurl.com/lldx75v
