#ENDviolence exhibition at La Plaza City of Knowledge
With the support of the City of Knowledge Foundation and as part of our efforts to advocate for a childhood without violence, UNICEF Panama has prepared the exhibition #FinALaViolencia #ENDviolence, in order to make a call to action for children through the faces of children and revealing figures of the magnitude of the violence of which they are victims throughout their life cycle.
The exhibition will be in La Plaza de City of Knowledge from July 16 to 31, 2018, as part of the commemoration of the month of children in the Republic of Panama.
Every day many children and adolescents suffer and witness acts of violence. Violence against children crosses cultural, social, educational, income and ethnic borders, and takes place in many different environments. This has devastating consequences for the well-being and development of children and adolescents.
UNICEF, through its country office at the City of Knowledge, seeks to raise awareness about the impact of violence on the full development of children. For this, it is necessary to publicize the forms of violence that children experience and to call for outrage and zero tolerance for such forms of violence.
UNICEF has the site https://www.unicef.org/spanish/endviolence/ that collects information about violence that affects children and information about this situation in our country.
We invite you to take a moment to visit the exhibition and spread the message.
