The City of Knowledge Foundation and the Women Corporate Directors of Panama (WCD-Panama), are pleased to invite you to the forum "The new global development agenda 2030: The role of women in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals", which will take place on Monday, August 22 at the City of Knowledge Convention Center. Eugenia Piza López, Director of the Gender Programme for Latin America and the Caribbean of UNDP, will give the conference.

Eugenia Piza López works on the nexus of governance, peace building and security. She has over 20 years of experience in governance, conflict prevention, disarmament, demobilization and gender in the Arab States, Central America, Southeast Asia and the United Kingdom. She has authored numerous chapters in books and manuals on governance, conflict prevention, small arms and gender and has public speaking experience at the UN General Assembly, the UN Security Council and Preparatory Committees for the UN Small Arms and Women’s Conferences. She holds a Master’s in Social Communication from Leicester University (UK), a degree in Media and Sociology from the University of Costa Rica and a Diploma in the History of Art from London University.
