The City of Knowledge Foundation, the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung, the Connectas platform and Climate Tracker.org, invite you to the discussion session: The money route for climate change in Latin America, to be held at the City of Knowledge Convention Center on Thursday, October 25, 2018.
A prestigious panel of experts will discuss the urgent and immediate changes that are needed to generate a sustainable environmental future, as well as take advantage of the monetary resources that are provided by different entities to develop new initiatives and mitigate the progress and effects of climate change in the region. We will also address the issue of investments and the key to enabling countries in Latin America to move towards a low carbon economy and thus meet their emission reduction targets.
In addition, it will discuss the finances of climate change in Latin America and the efforts of countries to meet their national commitments to mitigate climate change in the framework of the Paris Agreement, which requires financing.
