The National Secretariat for Science, Technology and Innovation (SENACYT), with the support of the City of Knowledge Foundation, among others, will hold on May 30th and May 31st the final of the RoboCup Junior Panama 2015 competition, at the City of Knowledge Convention Center.

Young Panamanians between 9 and 19 years old created their own robots to compete in the categories of dance, rescue and football, of the second version of RoboCup Junior Panama 2015. Young people who win RoboCup Junior will get a chance to represent Panama in the Junior League International RoboCup Competition, to be held from July 17 to 22 in Hefei, China.

This activity involved young Panamanians from seven regions: Chiriquí, Azuero, Coclé, Veraguas, Panamá Oeste, Panamá Centro and Colón. The goal is to help the next generation of researchers, scientists and engineers to become experts that will address the evolving challenges of modern society.
