The City of Knowledge Foundation (FCDS), the International Association for Volunteer Effort (IAVE) and the University for International Cooperation (UCI), invite you to the launch of the Latin American Center for Volunteering (CELAV), which will take place on Thursday, August 7th, at the City of Knowledge Convention Center.

The Latin American Center for Volunteering (CELAV) has the mission of strengthening solidarity in Latin America, through awareness, mobilization, generation and access to knowledge regarding volunteering in all its expressions.

The CELAV launch ceremony will count with words from its honorary president, Dr. Bernardo Kliksberg, and its president, Don Federico Humbert. It will also count with the participation of the center’s strategic partners: Juan David Morgan, President of the Board of Trustees of the City of Knowledge, Kathi Dennis, Executive Director of IAVE, and Eduard Muller, Rector of the University for International Cooperation (UCI). The results of the Latin American Volunteer Survey will be presented.
