Intern Coordinator // Earth Train Foundation

Earth Train Foundation would like to have an intern on board and give them the experience of working at a Panamanian NGO.

Started in 2001, Earth Train envisions a world where human values, enterprise and habitat are in harmony with nature. Our mission is to promote biocultural renewal—that is the practice of creating sustainable communities and institutions in harmony with nature and enriched with biological and cultural diversity.We work side by side with the residents of the Mamoní Valley.

In the last month we have:

Provided international schools with notable speakers

We collaborated with the arrival of the Hokule'a through the Panama Canal

Hosted the second Bamboo Workshop at the BioMuseo

Earth Train Foundation offers this internship to students and people wanting to further their experience in NGO and nature conservation in a Latin American country managing rising programs.The goal of the position is to coordinate internships and maintain social media accounts, providing support to the rest of the team through event collaboration with visiting organizations, schools, and public programs. We would like you to embody the spirit and leadership of our foundation.


- Internship Coordinator

-Maintaining our social media accounts daily

-Providing support and collaboration with the team’s needs before, during, and after events

-Facilitating and coordinating with visiting organizations, schools, and public programs

-Deep commitment to advocating for marginalized communities and the environment

Desired Experience

- Administration of Social Networks

-Dominating Spanish and English

-Previous use of Google programs (such as Drive and Slides), Mircosoft Office, photo archiving apps

-Experience with classes or courses relating to our NGO such as Nature Conservation and Design

Your application must include

-A letter of interest

-A curriculum or resume

-Relatable classes taken

* Candidates must be able to meet by Skype or in person in Casa Arias, Casco Viejo, within the month of February.

We will provide you with accommodation in Casa Arias (Casco Viejo) and a certificate acknowledging your accomplishments during this internship which can count towards college credit or resume.The cost of the internship is per month.Please note that the minimum period of time for an internship to be considered valid by colleges is one month.
